I recently received UCL approval from CSC and purchased a static IP from BSNL Bharat Fibre.

When running Aadhaar UCL 3.3.4.2 client registration, I get:

Static IP Mismatch / Machine not whitelisted

How do I ensure my static IP is correctly routed and bound to the UCL client?

Which GPS device works reliably with Aadhaar UCL on Windows 10/11?

Congratulations on getting UCL approval! Static IP binding is strictly monitored by UIDAI Tech Support.

Checklist:

  1. Verify your BSNL router has the static IP on its WAN interface (not the LAN side). Check your public IP at https://whatismyip.com — it must match exactly what was registered.

  2. If you're behind CGNAT, request BSNL NOC to assign a pure public static IPv4 address.

  3. Your operator machine must be connected via LAN ethernet cable to the router:

    Wi-Fi is prohibited for UCL operations

  4. Submit these to the CSC State Aadhaar Manager for UIDAI portal whitelisting:

    • MAC address of the operator machine's NIC
    • Motherboard UUID (msinfo32 → System Summary → Base Board Serial Number)
    • Assigned static IP

Whitelisting typically completes within 2–3 business days after submission.

Once the state team confirms whitelisting on the UIDAI backend:

  1. Open services.msc → Restart the UCL Client service
  2. Run GPS sync first (wait for green satellite lock indicator)
  3. Then click Operator Login

Never skip the GPS sync step — UCL logs a failed geo-coordinate validation error if GPS is not locked before login.
